General introduction: what are the Sefirot
The ten sefirot are not parts of God, nor separate entities. In the Kabbalá, the sephiroth are modes of manifestation, channels of expression and structures of relationship between the Ein Sof —the Infinitude of the divine— and the reality that you created.
The Kabbalá does not describe the divine essence, but the way in which the Infinite is revealed, it contracts and is organized to make it possible for the existence.
The Tree of Life is the schema which orders these ten sefirot and shows its flow, hierarchy and interdependence. Without this structural map is not possible to understand the Creation, the history, the human soul, or, much less, the parsufim, which are advanced settings of these same sephiroth acting as complete systems.

The ten Sefirot, one by one
1. Keter – Will / Crown
Keter represents the will of creation: the momentum prior to the whole idea. It is not thought, but the decision to be. It is the point where the creation is desired prior to being conceived.
It works as a direct interface between the Ein Sof and what was said.
Key: will, divine pleasure, intention supreme.
2. Jojmá – Wisdom
Jojmá is the flash initial of consciousness: the idea of pure, instant and non-verbal.
If Keter is the will to create, Jojmá is the first “what”.
Key: spark, intuition, insight.
3. Biná – Understanding
Biná develop and structure the spark of Jojmá. Is analysis, in-depth and thought-articulated.
Here appears for the first time, the concept of limit and discernment.
Key: analysis, management, structure.
4. Jésed – Mercy / Expansion
Jésed is the force of giving unlimited. Love expansive and flow without restrictions.
Without Jésed no life or creation.
Key: give, love, abundance.
5. Gevurah – Rigor / Restriction
Gevurah enter limit, measure, and judgment. Not punishes-sorts.
Balanced Jésed to avoid the chaos.
Key: discipline, limit, accuracy and precision.
6. Tiferet – Harmony / Beauty
Integrates Jésed and Gevurah. It is the truth that arises from the balance conscious.
Is the emotional center of the Tree of Life.
Key: harmony, truth, compassion.
7. To Netzaj – Victoria / Perseverance
To netzaj is the strength to move forward and sustain the momentum.
Represents action, strategy and continuity.
Key: perseverance, progress, determination.
8. Hod – Splendor Of Recognition.
Hod organize, structure and recognizes.
Complements to netzaj: where one pushes, the other understands.
Key: humility, communication, form.
9. Yesod – Foundation
Yesod is the transmission channel.
Meets the higher energies, and leads to the manifestation.
Key: connection, pipe, link.
10. Maljut – Kingdom
Maljut is at the receiving end: the concrete reality.
Does not generate its own light; it reflects what you get.
Key: manifestation, action, reality.

Why the Sephiroth do not work isolated
A common mistake is to study the sefirot as independent concepts. In practice, always operate in conjunction, influencing each other, and forming dynamic systems.
When these sefirot are organized as structures complete and functional form parsufim.
Of the Sefirot to the Parsufim
The parsufim, are not something other than the sefirot. Are configurations mature sephiroth acting as a coherent unit, with mind, body and function.
- Without Keter, Jojmá and Biná there is no awareness or direction.
- Without Jésed Yesod no emotional dynamics or action.
- Without Maljut there is no impact on reality.
Therefore, the study of the ten sefirot is the absolute prerequisite to understand:
- the parsufim
- the plagues of Egypt
- the structure of the soul
- redemption
- the spiritual sense of the story
What is meant by the word Parsuf
Parsuf means “face” or “settings”. In Kabbalá is a technical term: a parsuf is a spiritual structure complete, well-organized and functional.
The sefirot are forces.
The parsufim, are agencies.
Why they appear the Parsufim
After the Tzimtzum and the breaking of the vessels (Shevirat haKelim), the sefirot may not operate in isolation.
The parsufim arise as a reorganization corrective that allows you to:
- stability
- continuity
- order relational
- possibility of tikún (repair)
Without parsufim, the light would be destructive. With parsufim, the light is integrated.
Internal structure of a Parsuf
Rosh (Head)
Includes Keter, Jojmá and Biná.
Here you decide how much light you receive, and with what intention.
Guf (Body)
Includes Jésed, Gevurah, Tiferet, to netzaj, Hod and Yesod.
Here the decision is transformed in the process.
Sof (End)
Related Maljut.
Here is the light manifests itself or is stopped.
The main Parsufim
- Adam Kadmon: root archetypal of all the worlds.
- Arij Anpin: expression of Keter, will for a long time.
- Aba: expression of Jojmá, wisdom active.
- Ima: expression of Biná, understanding structuring.
- Zeir Anpin: configuration emotional (Jésed to Yesod).
- Maljut: receiving end.
Parsufim, and the Plagues of Egypt
General principle
The ten plagues are not arbitrary punishment. Are interventions spiritual aimed to dismantle the structure of Egypt (Mitzraim, tightness).
Structural division
- First seven plagues: Zeir Anpin and Maljut
- Last three plagues: Aba and Ima
First seven plagues
Break the operational control and emotional:
- nature
- production
- body
- time
Affecting water, soil, animals, and body. No negotiation.
Last three plagues
Act on mental levels:
- Lobster: rupture of the future (Jojmá)
- Darkness: collapse of understanding (Biná)
- Firstborn: cut of spiritual continuity
Here there is no return. The system collapses.
The human being as microcosm
The human being reflects the entire spiritual structure.
The sefirot are expressed in body and psyche.
The parsufim integrate mind, emotion, and action.
Conclusion
The sefirot are functions.
The parsufim, are the integration.
Pests are processes of liberation structural.
Who memorize concepts, it accumulates information.
Who understands the sephiroth and the parsufim, lee reality.
The output of Egypt is not just historical:
it is an internal process, structural and continuum.
