Blessing belongs to that which is open and not exhausted by calculation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The count can become an expression of power<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Counting people can also reflect political or military control. The problem is turning numbers into an absolute source of power and security.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A nation can trust its demographics more than God. A king can depend more on his army than on justice.
