Its value lies in three planes: (1) <strong>text<\/strong> (history of the biblical text prior to the TM), (2) <strong>historical-religious<\/strong> (map of practices and ideas of a splinter group with calendar and halachah own), and (3) <strong>methodological<\/strong> (permanent challenge to date, edit and authenticate with scientific standards and transparency).
